Across The Stitch is the brainchild of Dineen Parker:

“I joined the U. S. Army over twenty years ago to serve my country. During the early years of my career, I took up two hobbies, cross-stitching and sewing. I would make cross stitch projects and outfits for others and sell them or giving them away as gifts.  As my career and life mature, I took a break from cross stitching and sewing to lead and train Soldiers, work in healthcare, get married, raise a family, and pursue my education.

“Once the thought of retirement entered my mind after accomplishing all I could in the Army, I decided to start cross-stitching and sewing again.   I started making items for others and was told you should start your own business since you’re about to retire.  Light bulb moment! Across the Stitch was born.”
