Hi, I’m Jamie, aka Mr X Stitch, and I started XStitch Magazine because cross stitch is an amazing, diverse craft and I wanted people to enjoy it, regardless of who they are and where they come from.

It’s fair to say that there’s a common idea about cross stitch which can put people off. But it is such a nice thing to do, and there are so many cool designs these days.

So it’s my mission to get you to try cross stitch and to know that there are people of all ages and backgrounds trying it these days.

I’ve been doing it for nearly 20 years and have yet to be struck be lightning, so give it a go!
