Welcome to Issue 13 of XStitch Magazine – Fortune!
Fortune has multiple meanings, whether it’s a statement of wealth or an aspiration for the future, and our international cohort of cross stitch talent has delivered a fantastic mix of patterns that you’ll love to stitch.
As with all our issues, we’ve a great mix of styles from this traditional looking design from SmartCrossStitch through to Stitchsperation’s fresh design aesthetic.
It’s another international cast including designers from Italy, Spain, Russia and Poland as well as more familiar names like Maria Diaz and Peacock & Fig.
We continue on our mission to bring new talent to the XStitch family with the introduction of our cover star, Flanders Tapestry Collection! Johan from FTC traditionally works in tapestry rather than cross stitch so we’ve got two sets of specifications for his design, in case you want to scale up your stitching. And we’ve done the same with The Makers’ Marks awesome Zoltar Speaks design as well!
This issue is our biggest yet and among the great reading in this issue we’ve got a brand new short story called Fortuna from literary sensation Holly Butteriss! We’ve also got our usual columns, product reviews, and some excellent reader submissions!
Our thirteenth issue also marks our third anniversary and we’re proud to have delivered so many fantastic designs for you to enjoy. If you’ve not checked out our back issues, you are missing some excellent editions and we’ve got some great digital combo packs so you can pick and mix! Buy your copy now and get instant download gratification! Better still, become a subscriber and save 25% of the price!
And don’t forget our collaborative YouTube playlist – each song is chosen by a contributor to the mag!
