XStitch Magazine Issue 4 - Green

Issue 4 – Green – Print Edition

We love this issue because the cover by Leah Emery is unlike anything that had ever gone before and really defines how XStitch is bucking the trend.

Let’s dive into the designs so you can get itching for some gorgeous green stitching!

FiddlesticksAU - Wild & Free

FiddlesticksAU opens the show with this wonderfully aspirational design that reminds us of the joys of the outdoors!

Filled with nostalgia, you can almost smell the fresh air – so stitch this up and you’ll bring the wilderness to your home in the best way!

Samplers are a great way of flexing your stitching skills and Ann’s Orchard provides you with a plethora of green icons to enjoy!

Why not spin these letters into bespoke phrases for people you love?

Be careful you don’t lose yourself in her Celtic Spirals!

And from one leafy jungle dweller to another! How can you resist the charm of Peacock & Fig‘s baby orangutan?

You don’t just have to be a Friend of Dorothy to enjoy this pattern!

We’ve three other newcomers in this issue! All the way from Russia, it’s Alyona aka StitchingLand! You may not have heard of her before, but we think you’ll love her Wizard of Oz inspired design! Next up we have Teahouse Sashiko! We don’t want to say too much about this mysterious designer as they’re new to town and they can only be spoken of in hushed tones. But they bring a whitework design that will fix your Feng Shui in a heartbeat.

And we’re thrilled to have Emma Congdon join us for this issue! Emma is one of the UK’s most prolific cross stitch designers and her ways with words and images is up there with the best of them. Her design will give you plenty of stitching pleasure, but has a friendly nod towards Scarface as well!

We’ve got an artist feature on Sarah Gwyer, words of wisdom from Kreinik Threads, Lord LibidanFloss & Mischief, and Mary van Tyne and another awesome product review from Grace at Beyond Measure!

It a lovely issue and we think you’ll really enjoy it, so be sure to get your print copy while stocks last!
